Weekend Recap (3/28)
What a weekend. From start to finish, Landon and I were on the go. Although it was busy, it was the beautiful kind of busy.
All weekend long, we were surrounded by family and friends. The best part: we celebrated our Savior’s resurrection on Sunday!
Let’s rewind to Friday evening…Friday night we spent with our friends, Michael, Kelle, and their four week old son, Elias.
Let me just say, he is absolutely adorable. Landon did a good job practicing his daddy skills.
For dessert, I brought an angel food trifle. Hello deliciousness.
I love recipes that look complicated, but are super simple.
Saturday morning, Landon and I ran five miles. I am so thankful he likes to run with me.
After our run, we quickly got freshened up, and drove to my parents house. My brother was back visiting from Louisiana! It was fantastic to be able visit with him! (I was a bad blogger and didn’t get any pictures)
The rest of Saturday was pretty relaxed, a business meeting, working, cleaning, grocery shopping, and a late dinner.
Sunday morning, Easter morning, Landon and I ate breakfast, went to church, and celebrated our Lords resurrection!
I love Easter, not because of the bright colors, warm air, candy, or bunnies, but because our Savior did indeed rise from the dead. And because He did, His resurrection gives us hope for the future, and purpose for the now.
After church, Landon and I celebrate with the Thompson clan. When we get together, there is pile of children, a lot of laughter, and a large amount of food. I am so thankful to be a part of the Thompson family, they are so much fun. Most of all, I love their love for the Lord!
(Also, shoutout to Aunt Nancy for the pictures!)

When we got home, Landon and I watched Up and relaxed the rest of the evening. (Quiet evenings at home- love!)
I am so grateful for the family and friends God has placed in my life. He is risen indeed!
Make it a great Monday friends! Catch you all tomorrow for a bump date.
