Simple, Healthy, FOUR INGREDIENT Vinaigrette
I have a thing for salads. Actually, both Landon and I do. Typically, we eat a salad every day (and sometimes two per day if we are feeling wild.) I know, we live an extreme life. 😉
That much salad means that we use a lot of salad dressing. I used to buy vinaigrette or other kinds of dressings, but I after experimenting, I found that it is much more cost effective, healthier and tastier to make my own. I’ve tweaked this recipe numerous times and added in different spices, additions, etc, but Landon and I really enjoy the simple, classic version of this dressing. It pairs well with most kinds of salad, sweet or savory, and our favorite combo is adding it onto a salad with quinoa, feta cheese, some crunchy topping (normally nuts + seeds) and shredded carrot. SO GOOD.
Yes, this salad.
The thing I love about this dressing is the simplicity. It’s only four ingredients, takes about 3 minutes to whip up, and the ingredients are ones that most people always have on hand. Sound easy or what? It’s so easy, that I don’t know if I should technically call this a recipe…
