Pregnancy Cravings Are Strange Things, Cappuccino Ice Cream, and a Run (!!) (WIAW 8/9)
Baby T and I are quite excited because it is Wednesday!! Not only is it the middle of the week, but today is completely open day, and I am working on getting all the last minute details ready before baby T’s arrival.
Okay, I know that he or she may not come for another 2-4 weeks, but I am trying to be as prepared as possible.
Now let’s get this WIAW party started!
(Confused at what WIAW is? Check out the details here.)
So, yesterday’s cravings were bizarre. I don’t know if it had something to do with the fact that I was having quite a few Braxton Hicks, but I didn’t really know what I wanted to eat all day long.
Which is unusual for me. I’m normally the kind of girl who has dreamed up all her meals the day before.
Yesterday was just not that day.
One thing I knew I was craving? A solid run. Also known as a 2 mile run that felt like a 10 mile run. Hey, but at 37 weeks pregnant, I’ll take it.
After my run and downing a large amount of water, I tried to decide what I wanted for breakfast. Normally, a smoothie would have been my choice…but someone (me) forgot to buy cocoa powder on Sunday. And you all know I can’t make any other kind of smoothie. Can’t get off my banana + cocoa + peanut butter smoothie addiction.
So, instead, I made a giant Greek yogurt bowl with strawberries and Cherrios.
Of course, coffee was still there for me. I love you too, coffee. (Notice the heart.)
Real life Greek yogurt bowl? You’re welcome.
After eating breakfast, I spent a couples hours working and sorting/organizing all of the baby shower gifts!
When lunch time rolled around, I (again) didn’t know what I wanted. I decided to have a salad (which I forgot to take a picture of mid-way into eating it…) and finished it it off cheese and watermelon.
Once Landon left for work, I worked on laundry and ran some errands.
Post erran refruel? This bad boy. (You can find the recipe here!)
A few hours later, I finally had an idea of what I wanted for dinner….
Which turned out to be eggs in a hole and steamed broccoli (oh and more warermelon, of course!)
Landon and I wrapped our evening up with packing our hospital bags (!!) and working.
Annndd that’s a wrap. Catch you all later today- make today great!
Questions of the Day
- Name three things you ate yesterday!!
- Did you run yesterday? If so, tell me all about it!
- What are the top things I should pack in my hospital bag? Also, what are items I don’t need to worry about packing??
