Fun New Finds and Banana Tricks (TOL #73)
Hello there and happy Thursday! I am so glad we finally made it to Thursday because my brain is ready for a semi-random post format. I love writing long posts, recaps, and running tips, but sometimes my creativity is fried and I just need a little break from the deep thinking. Enter: TOL.
Thank you Amanda for giving me this nice little random break in the week.
Okay, let’s roll…
Okay, so who here freezes bananas? If you do, I’ll let you in on a little secret. This right here, is the BEST way to freeze those nanners and not give your fingers frost bite while trying to make a smoothie. Early into our marriage, Landon told me he used to freeze his bananas with the peel on (the poor man!) so I introduced him to this method. Step 1: Peel banana. Step 2: Slice or ‘tear?’ banana into chunks. 3: Place into mug Step 4: Freeze Step 5: Pull out of freezer when read to use. Step 6: Scrape frozen banana chunks out of cup with spoon and plop into blender. Step 7: Make smoothie and rejoice that your fingers are not freezing!
While we are talking about smoothies, I just want to take a moment and highlight this new-ish flavor to me. Okay guys, I don’t know about you, but I love it when my products are grass fed. Grass fed beef, grass fed whey- it just tastes better, in my opinion. When I saw Designer Protein had Grass Fed Advacned Whey Protein I jumped at the chance to try it out. This protein not only has 25 grams of protein per scoop (with only 150 calories per scoop) but it also tastes ammmaazing. Cookies and cream? Yes please. If you are looking into a good protein, check out this bad boy by clicking here. Also! You can use my code BETHANY20 and get 20% off your order! Note, this is an affiliate link, but all opinions are my own.
While we are talking about affiliate stuff, something that I am not an affiliate for, but would LOVE to be is Oiselle. So, the other day, I snagged these shorts off Amazon (thanks to a recommendation from Janae!) and thanks to Amazon prime, they were delivered to my door only two days later. I’ve worn these shorts now for ever run since and have absolutely fallen in love with how light, airy, and comfortable these shorts are. I love that they DON’T ride up (something I hate) and I can hardly tell I’m wearing them at all. So, if anyone wants to buy me a couple more pairs in multiple colors, that’d be great.
Something else I cannot get enough of and would love you times 98937 if you brought me some today? #halotopforlife. This flavor was new to me, but as always, it did not disappoint. Now I’ve tried: Vanilla Bean, Sea Salt Caramel, Birthday Cake, Mint Chip, Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Chocolate Almond, and Strawberry. What should I try next?
That’s all for today! Lets chat tomorrow about RUNNING!
