Fitness Fridays- Half Marathon Training Week # 2

 Welcome back to Fitness Fridays! (Please excuse the long title today!)

This week started half marathon training week number two! So far, so good. I am so grateful that I have not experienced any injuries yet. Praising the Lord for the good gift of running.

Here’s is what happened this week!

Saturday: Skipped my long run (sore shins) but did late night speed work. 1 mile @ 6:16 pace

Sunday: Rest

Monday 3/23- 3 Mile Run @ 8:00 min average pace

Tuesday- 3/24 3 Mile Run @ 8:00 min average pace

Wednesday 3/25 – Hill workout (3 Miles) at a 8:30 pace

Thursday  3/26- Cross training. Abs, arms, legs. Focused on sets of 25 x 4 repeats of each circuit

Friday 3/27- (Today!) 3 Mile run @ 8:00 pace

Saturday 3/28 – 6 Mile run @ 7:30 pace (goal)

Sunday 3/29 – Rest day

 

Total Mileage for 2nd Week Half Marathon Training:

18 Miles!
