Fitness Fridays!
Welcome back to Fitness Fridays- let’s take a look at what happened week four of half marathon training. I will say, this week my knees were feeling a little sore, which is why my runs were shorter. I guess it is the life of a runner! I also fell really hard during my Thursday run…it was real bummer!
Saturday 4/11- Red Shoe Run 5k! First place!! @7:21 pace
Sunday 4/12- Rest day
Monday 4/13 – Cross training (Abs/ Arms/ Legs)
Tuesday 4/14 – 3.5 miles
Wednesday 4/15 – Cross training (Abs/ Arms/ Legs)
Thursday 4/16- 3.30 miles + Abs + a hardcore wipe-out (bruised/ strained a tendon or muscle?)
Friday 4/17 – Cross training
Saturday 4/18 – 8 miles at training pace if foot is ok
Sunday 4/19 – Rest/ light cross training
Total Mileage- 14.80 miles average pace @ 7:20 for all miles (roughly!)
