Fitness Fridays!
We are officially in half-marathon training week number 2! (Let the fun begin!)
This week I struggled with wanting to run more, but also trying to stick to the training plan. I’ve learned the hard way, that too much, too soon usually ends in injury. I am trying to be good and train without injury this time! So without further ado, here is the low down of what went on this week. (And what is going to happen this weekend, Lord willing.)
Sunday- 2.5 Birthday Miles! @ 7:59 average pace (Because I HAD to run on my birthday!)
Monday- Cross training (Abs, Arms, Legs)
Tuesday- 2 Miles speed work @ 6:59 average pace, foam rolling, stretching & 1.15 treadmill miles at night.
Wednesday- 4 Miles @ 7:58 average pace, foam rolling, abs, ice bath, and stretching
Thursday- Rest day
Friday- 3 Miles, foam rolling, stretching, abs, arms, and ice bath
Saturday- 3-4 Miles or Cross training (depending on how my shins feel)
Sunday-6 early miles! (Wish me luck getting out of bed!)
