Easy, Crock Pot Chicken
I love spending hours in the kitchen, messing up the counters, and creating a masterpiece. However, there are days when the last thing I want to do (especially in the summer!) is spend a lot of time in a hot kitchen. Thankfully, that’s where my crock pot comes in.
I love my crock pot for a variety of reasons. I am a huge fan of throwing a meal in the crock pot, walking away, and having it all ready at the end of the day; and I also love not having to heat up the whole kitchen!
The other day, I decided I wanted to make crock pot chicken for dinner. Since the crock pot cooked it so perfectly, I don’t think I will be making it any other way.
Easy, Crock Pot Chicken
Ingredients
- 4-6 large, frozen chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp. Oregano
- 1 tbsp. Basil
- 2 tsp. Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. Olive oil
- 3 c. Water
Method
Place four to six frozen chicken breasts in crock pot with water and seasonings. Set crockpot on low and cook for 6 hours or until chicken is tender.
Remove chicken from crock pot (you can save the liquid and make gravy!) and serve warm. Enjoy!
