A Tired Tuesday + Delicious Eats (WIAW 9/20)
So, yesterday, I woke up tired. Like, extremely tired. I think the last two weeks have caught up with me, because I don’t remember ever feeling this exhausted before.
Thank goodness for coffee. Monday night, Benaiah was up every 1-1.5 hours to eat. After nursing, burping, and re-swaddling him, I was left with only thirty to fourty five minutes to sleep before he woke up again. Maybe that is why I was so tired yesterday? 😉 No sleep = large amounts of coffee.
And a protein smoothie to help fuel me through the morning. My mornings lately have been a whole lot of nothing: snuggling, feeding, burping, and blogging. Even though these days look so different from my usual routine, I’m loving this new normal and I know it won’t last forever.
He won’t always be this little. Cue hormonal tears.
Okay, anyways, once Landon came home for lunch, we enjoyed these chicken salads for lunch.
Chicken salad >>> lettuce, chicken, corn, cheese, black beans, tomatoes, green onions, crumbled bacon, with tortilla chips on the side. So.good. (A friend brought this over to us for Monday’s dinner- and we are loving these leftovers!)
After lunch, Benaiah ate again, and afterwards, we both took naps.
But, I can only nap so much until I feel the urge to move around.
I fueled up with protein bites before Benaiah and I went for a 1.6 mile walk.
After that refreshing walk, Landon and I enjoyed dinner. This may not look good (photographer of the year) but it was delicious. Stuffed zuchinni. (Another meal from friends!)
Post dinner happenings? Foot massages, dark chocolate snacking, and an early bed time.
